APPOINTMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PURE DERMA CLINIC

LAST UPDATED: 1 June 2024

We kindly request that you carefully review these terms and conditions prior to scheduling your appointment. Should you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@puredermaclinic.com.

General Terms

  1. Our physicians reserve the right to refuse treatment to any individual for any reason.
  2. All patients must be at least 18 years of age.
  3. All clients are required to complete and sign a consent form that details the risks associated with the treatment prior to any procedure. By signing, you acknowledge your understanding and acceptance of the risks, and you agree that the clinic holds no liability for any complications or dissatisfaction resulting from the treatment.
  4. Payment in full is required at the time of treatment at the clinic.
  5. Our physicians will take photographs before and after treatments for clinical records. These images are confidential and used for record-keeping purposes only unless you consent to their use for marketing or educational purposes.
  6. We may need to disclose your personal and medical information to other professionals (such as our insurance or legal team) when necessary.
  7. The physician may propose to share before and after images on our social media platforms. You will be provided with a social media release consent form at the clinic which details this agreement. You are free to decline this option.
  8. Should you be dissatisfied with your treatment, you are invited to discuss your concerns during a review appointment with one of our physicians. Please note, further treatments, including corrective treatments, are not obligatory and may incur charges. Dissatisfaction does not qualify for a refund.
  9. Our staff may contact you via phone, email, text, or social media (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) for booking purposes or to ensure continuity of care. If you prefer not to be contacted, please inform us in writing at info@puredermaclinic.com.

Cancellations and Deposits

  1. A minimum deposit of £50 is required for all appointments, payable via a link sent by text/email or directly over the phone. Appointments cannot be confirmed without this deposit.
  2. While Pure Derma Clinic strives to send appointment confirmations by text or email, this may not always be possible due to technical errors, such as incorrect email addresses.
  3. Deposits are non-refundable but will be credited against the cost of the treatment if the treatment is conducted during the same session. If you choose not to proceed with a treatment, the deposit will cover the consultation cost. We do not offer free consultations.
  4. Deposits may be refunded only if you are deemed medically unsuitable for treatment, a decision made at the sole discretion of the treating physician during your consultation.
  5. To cancel your appointment, you must notify us at least 72 working hours in advance (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to receive a refund of your deposit minus transaction costs. Cancellations made later, or failure to attend, will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. If you need to reschedule, you must do so at least 48 working hours before your appointment to have your deposit transferred to the new date. Later rescheduling may result in the loss of your deposit, requiring a new deposit for the next booking.
  6. When you attend your appointment at the clinic and wish to book a future date, a new deposit will be necessary to secure the subsequent appointment.

Refund Policy

Please be advised that we do not offer refunds on any treatments provided.

Complaints Policy

Our complaints policy is designed to ensure that any dissatisfaction with our services or products is addressed appropriately. If you have a complaint that cannot be resolved informally, you should formally raise it with our Medical Director, Dr Ali, by sending an email to info@puredermaclinic.com. Our Medical Director, or an authorized representative, will investigate and respond to your complaint in writing within 28 days of receipt. Complaints received outside of business hours will be considered received on the next business day.

Child Supervision Policy

Children are welcome in our clinics; however, our staff cannot supervise children during treatments for health, safety, and insurance reasons. Please ensure that children are accompanied by another adult during your appointment, as they are not permitted in treatment rooms. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Covid-19 Policy

Pure Derma Clinic adheres to stringent protocols to minimize the risk of Coronavirus transmission. These include reduced waiting times, increased intervals between appointments for thorough cleaning and disinfection, and adherence to government and Public Health England (PHE) guidelines on PPE. While we have taken extensive measures, the risk of transmission cannot be entirely eliminated, and we encourage you to take personal precautions. Please inform the clinic immediately if you exhibit symptoms of Covid-19 or have been advised to self-isolate. If you develop symptoms on the day of your appointment, you may reschedule with an additional £100 deposit, provided you submit evidence of a Covid-19 test taken within 48 hours of your appointment. This policy may be adjusted according to the latest government and PHE advice.

Note: Our cancellation policy also applies to instances requiring self-isolation due to Covid-19, such as following a positive test result or advice from NHS Test and Trace.
